are you kidding me, domino magazine?

I became aware of Domino: The Book of Decorating just a short time ago, but I can't even remember life before I knew of this book. My copy arrived last week and boy howdy is it beautiful. It is so beautiful that I just said boy howdy and I'm pretty sure I've never said that before. This book may be my favorite book in the world that isn't scripture. Just look at these lovely images. 

Even the chapter dividers are gorgeous!

I've been reading it to unwind before bed and Sam may have accused me more than once of liking the book more than I like him. The thing is, he doesn't tell me the pros and cons of a tuxedo sofa versus a tufted sofa. Domino does. So very very well.

I highly recommend this book. Seriously. It may change your life. And to my male readers (if you're actually still reading), your girlfriend/wife will be extremely impressed and even more in love with you if you get this book for them, unless they are feeling insecure about their interior design skills. Then they might be super offended.
