random photo: rainy day?
I got some new rainboots this year and the first day I wore them, I was promised rain all. day. long. by the weather app on my phone. Except then it was sunny by 10 am and really never rained at all. This is the 97th time my weather app has lied to me and it is the 96th time I thought "maybe I'll just trust it today" with disastrous results (obviously rainboots on a sunny day is a complete disaster).

I think I would be happy my broken app gave me a believable excuse to wear them on non-rainy days. They're adorable!
I've done that many times before as well. expect i'm not cool enough to have a phone with apps. i always get hot feet and hot calves...but it does help that rainboots are cute, even if i feel a little silly wearing them on a sunny day!
