Guys. Somehow I've represented myself as a videographer to my brother and his fiancee but really I've never tried to make a film in my life. And yet, I'm making their video to be shown at their reception (you know, baby pictures, which is the easy part, and then their story with footage of them being a couple). I filmed the two of them (with a Flip cam) all last weekend and now I have to edit, which is really where the magic is, right? I am happily surprised that I got some decent shots but if not edited properly it's going to turn out like a cheap homemade movie (which is what it is, obviously, but we're going for something else here). So basically what I'm saying is, I'm trying to teach myself to be a professional quality videographer in only one month.
Pray for me.
P.S. If Ryan and Heidi are reading this, don't worry, it's going great!

I'm quite certain you could teach yourself professional videographing and just about anything else that you wanted to learn. Way to jump right in!
So, my sister in-law is a professional videographer... I will definitely keep that in mind. ;)
Good luck with the video! Editing is doable, just totally time consuming. So when it is taking you awhile and you are up in the middle of the night, just know that's how it goes -- and it isn't anything against you! That's about how I spent college as a broadcast journalism major.

I love this dress on you, and also... how do you edit videos? I've decided that videography needs to be something I learn this year. What software do you use? I seriously do not know the first thing. Come teach me. I mean it. You know where I live.
